Since the universe seems to be an ever-increasing expanse of bleak coldness in which a cruel and godless randomness defines all and mere existence itself is nothing but an agonizing blip of tortured consciousness that is snuffed out almost as soon as it flares against the nothingness, it’s nice to get some good news now and again.  Right?  Right.  Which is why the news that the Jonas Brothers, a band known more for their hairstyles and shooting their pubescent female fans with giant water cannons, are suffering a “deep, creative” rift in the music department–they even deleted their Twitter account!

Yes, the band who previously had so easily found creative commonality on classics like “Burnin’ Up,” “Lovebug,” “L.A. Baby (Where Dreams Are Made Of),” and, of course, “Pom Poms,” has somehow hit a brick wall, and the prospects of the three brothers reuniting and creating more immortal songs with their previously prolific songcraft are growing smaller by the minute, according to Billboard:

“Once they realized they couldn’t agree on music, it became a question of, ‘Why would we want to go out on tour right now?’ Their thought process was to get everything straight in terms of the creative. It was not a small thing [to call off the tour].”

What do you make of the Jonas Brothers news—happy, or is this another example of the cold universe slamming another door of hope upon you?
