Well, now you’ve done it, America. You’ve really gone and done it: Chris Brown announced via Twitter today that, because people are being really uncool and refusing to forgive him for that time he brutally punched, bit, and slammed his then-girlfriend Rihanna’s face into a car door a few years ago, he’s probably going to quit music. Because you guys are a bunch of jerks who can’t see past a grown man viciously beating his significant other because she looked at his cell phone.
Yes, Brown took to Twitter today to drop the bad news on us:
“Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album…Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent…I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool & over it!”
Whew—sad as the news is (and it really is sad, but perhaps not in the manner Brown intended), we can all breathe a big sigh of relief: Chris Brown is “cool” and “over” the fact that he, again, brutally punched, bit, and slammed Rihanna’s face into a car door. So we don’t have to worry about him feeling guilty or remorseful about it. He’s totally cool you guys!
What do you think of the Chris Brown news?
