Kanye West’s Yeezus tour hasn’t exactly been the most fortuitous for the rapper thus far. The rapper had already had to scrap the second night of the tour, set to be in Vancouver, and move it back to October 31st—that’s today. However, it was announced today that tonight’s make-up show in Vancouver, along with a number of other dates, were being postponed again.
It turns out that Kanye will be postponing not only the tonight’s Vancouver make-up date, but upcoming tour dates in Denver and Minneapolis, and that a show scheduled for Anaheim on November 1st (that’s tomorrow) has already been knocked back to December 13th. The reasoning? According to Rolling Stone, a truck “carrying his custom-made video truss and 60-foot circular LED screens got into a collision, damaging the gear beyond repair,” and that the video items are “central to the staging of the Yeezus tour and central to the creative vision put forth by Kanye West and his design team.” Meaning, if you want the full effect of Kanye’s live show, you’re going to have to wait for it.
