Despite the fact that Billy Joel recently contractually obligated himself to a lifetime of monthly performances—the singer inked a deal for a lifetime residency at Madison Square Garden, in which he will play one show a month at the Garden for the rest of his life—he has just announced a new tour that will take him around America for the next eight months (along with, yes, monthly returns to Madison Square Garden).
